Valerie Bertinelli
Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actor. She made her debut when she was an adolescent. She starred as Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984), for which she was awarded the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. In the following years, she became a star as an adult on the series Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 as well as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. This series earned her an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was honored in 2012 with a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Bertinelli hosts a number of programs on Food Network, such as the cooking shows Valerie's Home Cooking (2015-2023) and Kids Baking Championship (2015-present), winning the show two Daytime Emmy Awards for the former out of six nominations. In December 2021, Bertinelli signed a new deal for Food Network.Bertinelli was a bride to the singer-songwriter Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, with whom she had one son, Wolfgang. Tom Vitale was her husband from 2011 until 2020.
